Olympus Medical Systems India Pvt Ltd (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our mobile application (the “Application”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THE APPLICATION.

You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Application after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the third-party online/mobile store from which you install the Application or make payments, including any in-game virtual items, which may also collect and use data about you. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.

The information we may collect via the Application depends on the content and materials you use, and includes: Personal Data Demographic and other personally identifiable information (such as your name, mobile number and email address) that you voluntarily give to us when choosing to participate in various activities related to the Application, such as chat, posting messages in comment sections or in our forums, liking posts, sending feedback, and responding to surveys. If you choose to share data about yourself via your profile, online chat, or other interactive areas of the Application, please be advised that all data you disclose in these areas is public and your data will be accessible to anyone who accesses the Application. 

Push Notification: 
We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the Application. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.

Once you have used these links to leave the Application, any information you provide to these third parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy, and we cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of your information. Before visiting and providing any information to any third-party websites, you should inform yourself of the privacy policies and practices (if any) of the third party responsible for that website, and should take those steps necessary to, in your discretion, protect the privacy of your information. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other sites, services or applications that may be linked to or from the Application.

 
SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION 

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.

 
POLICY FOR CHILDREN 

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under age 13, please contact us using the contact information provided below.

DATA DELETIONS POLICY

My Voice is committed to respecting your privacy and providing you with the necessary control over your personal data. If you wish to have your data deleted from our servers, please follow the instructions below:

  1. In-App Data Deletion: We have provided option to the user to delete their account information in App’s Account Info page. Once we received the account deletion request, user’s related data will be completely delete from our server within 30 days. 
  1. Requesting Data Deletion: To request data deletion, you can contact us at support.cvm@olympus-ap.com. Please provide the following information to help us process your request:  
    a) Your full name.  
    b) The email address associated with your account.  
    c) Specific details of the data you want to be deleted. 
  1. Data Retention Period: We will retain your data for as long as necessary to provide you with our services or as required by applicable laws and regulations. If we have no legal or legitimate business need to retain your data, we will delete it. 
  1. Third-Party Services: Please note that if you have used any third-party services or social login options to create or access your account, you may need to contact those services directly to request data deletion. 
  1. Data Deletion Timeline: We will make reasonable efforts to delete your data within a reasonable timeframe after verifying your request. Please note that some residual copies may remain in our backup systems for a limited period. 

    Please be aware that deleting certain data may limit or prevent the use of some or all of our services.

 
CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES  

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

 
OPTIONS REGARDING YOUR INFORMATION

You may at any time review or change the information in your account or terminate your account by: 
● Logging into user account settings and updating the user account. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, some information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and/or comply with legal requirements. 

Emails and Communications: 
If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails, or other communications from us, you may opt-out by:

third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. This policy is effective as of 2023-10-17
